You're viewing a small tidal pool and a statue named "Jade" created by

artist Anatol Herzfeld, a former student of Joseph Beuys, during high

tide (05.05.2013).

Dangast is a small village situated on the southern banks of the Jade

Bight where chiefly expressionistic painters such as Karl

Schmidt-Rudloff or Erich Heckel worked for a couple of years around

the beginning of the 20th century.

I'm grateful to everyone for stopping by as well as dropping a line.

Buona visione.

I love the sense of solace brought about by the long exposure, along with the lovely colour and light gradation.

The statue reminds me very strongly of the work of Anthony Gormley, whose cast iron human like figures adorn Crosby Beach in Liverpool UK.

Compliments & Best Regards
