I think it is the processing that is so mesmerizing to me - the detail, yet softness.  The pose and composition so attractive and your choice of framing perfect.  Excellent work, Ann.

Super shot. Perfect timing. The tones on the bird makes it great!

A good action capture of the gull with very pleasing color. The larger version appears to have a lot of cloning under the bird's right wing, though I may be wrong.

Excellent photograph and a piece of art. A good wall hanging of a bird, soaring and so focused.

A truly amazing "capture," as they say, if it is the result of one click of the shutter, but is it? A nice work of art, if it is something other than that. I didn't see a more impressive picture of a seagull in a Google image search.

Thanks for all the recent comments. No cloning has been done as the gull was just there chasing food as they usually do.
