..Impressive photo and considering there are so many inhabitants in China, there is no sign of life any where...

Great combination of cool and warm tones, and such varied terrain in between, what a lovely perspective!

Beautiful display of wonderful terrain and earth tones. The icy mountains look like an icing on the cake for this stunning landscape.

Richard,  This is another winner of yours.  The three tiers front to back add much dimension - most interesting image.  You saw this just the right way. Congratulations.  Larry

Dear Richard,

A superb landscape. The saturated colors are great and the many different patterns a joy to follow. Where exactly is this taken? It does not look like Yunnan to me, so is it further west, say at the borderline to Tibet? Would love to go there. By the way, it is very easy to find remote areas in China, but it is far from easy going there.

Best regards Per.

A grand landscape and I particularly like the mix of warm and cold colors.  What is the tiny white speck on the right bank of the river, a building, a person?....  Mike
