Is the perfection in flight,is interesting how this looks with grey bg and the attention is exclusive to the bird,of course large view shows even better what eyes can not see else,my compliments and max.

That's the advantage of shooting with the 2X TC III + 500mm F4, the DOF is probably no more than half a centimeter at the distance that I shoot (between 12-18 feet - 4,5 meters) and everything is blurred. The only bad part is that I can not use my 5D Mark II since with the 2X the f-stop becomes F8 and for Canon that means manual focus. Works fine with one single focus point for all 1D series camera body though.

Excellent work, TmJ and thanks for sharing expertise.  I did not know this kind of clarity and resolution could be achieved at that ISO rating and focal length and handheld too.  You obviously don't drink coffee.
