Over the fishing season, some gear like these lobster traps get lost

for different reasons but mostly in storm situation.Subsequent

storms, like these Spring storms stir up the bottom and some of these

traps get washed ashore with the broken ice and are revealed once the

melt starts.Your comments are appreciated-Laurent

The washed up debris and old lobster pots offer a very nautical flavour to this scene. The dynamics of the cloud patterns and work well to highlight them too. I wonder if you have considered a B & W version?

Compliments & Best Regards

Thank you kindly.I have followed your suggestion and with my minimal PP skills converted another shot of this scene in BW,near sepia to save the dark spots.I would appreciate your feedback when you have time to view.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent

As I suspected the B & W version conveys a very different mood, and I like the drama that you have in the sky.

A much more broody and atmospheric shot has emerged from your PP work and I like it!

The sky looks a bit grainy, but I don't think thats a bad thing either.

Very well done Laurent!

Thank you so much.In converting this one to B/W,I found that some of the details in the lobster traps area were lost,so I split the image in two and worked the sky seperately(maybe too much=grainy sky) which I should have known would be detected even on the downsized version.Hindsight would have me rework the sky before posting,but.....!Again,many thanks for the suggestion and the re-look at this.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
