I really like this shot Ross! The hikers provide the perfect hint of color to a wonderful winter backdrop.

Great story telling image from the perfect perspective. The line of hikers continue with the line of fence posts, and the foreground shadows look fantastic, as does the long tree shadow that stretches mid right to left.

Thanks for your thoughtful comments which you always express so well. Vi & I loved winter hiking, hard slogging at times,but always so beautiful & quiet, that is Vi second from the front.Our hike leader was from England & obviously had to stop at a pub at the end of the hike. for ,a bite to eat & a couple of cold ones,, well, if it was a hard hike,maybe three cool ones.They were the good times..
