The original image did not turn out as I had hoped. Possibly due to

Camera Settings (see info). But I decided to play with the file before

deleting. This took awhile, but I finally came to a place where I was

pretty well satisfied. I will include the original below. (visits,

comments, always appreciated, ;-)Gail)

Very interesting (and good) post-processing.  I would have never guessed that the original was a flower.  Good work!

The orginal and the consequential posting couldn't be at further ends of the scale. But both amazingly compelling in thier own right.

I love the creativity of the processed posted version. It is a myriad of Celtic influenced design and a maze of cold steel and sharp blades that threaten to ensnare those that dare to penetrate its depths.

Beautifully done Gail!

Best Regards

Alf

PS I didn't mean to insinuate that you were actually influenced by anything Celtic, but I'm sure I remember you saying you had Scottish ancsestors?

So good to hear you enjoyed the finished composition. If you concentrate long enough and experiment with the tools within Photoshop, you can come up with some pretty amazing designs. A little knowledge of layers and blending modes is a must as well.

Funny, I had thought of call it 'Fraught With Danger' or 'Perilous Journey' but I didn't want to cast too negative a 'spin' on it. I don't really dwell in those places, yet I am pleased when I can composse something that has strong lines. Thankyou so much for that positive feedback Alf, truly appreciated!

You have turned an innocent flower into something sharp and rather menacing. I hope you don't get trapped in your own creations.

I can see where you thought it was part of a Tower. On closer view it gets a bit more complicated;-) happy that you dropped by and thankful for your support and encouragement.
