Quite likely catagorized improperly, but was having a time figuring out where

this image should go. A picturesque late afternoon kite flying. I thank you

I really like the composition and crop that you have applied  to this image.  The outstretched arm indicates the diagonal direction that the viewers eyes natually follow to the furthest kite. Simple Pleasures indeed! One of them being viewing this image!  I like the silhoettted figures, but wonder if any further detail can be rescued in the immediate dark foregroud.

A pleasure to receive your comments and praise.  I am currently posting at an acute disadvantage.  My old desktop computer died after 9 years of service and I am trying to make do with my travel laptop for the next month or two.  The laptop monitor always seems to be too bright in comparison to old work.  I have included an image with the foreground's exposure increased by one half.  Let me know if it realizes your thoughts.  It would be a modification I could live with.
