Hello Rajat

Colourful and good timing, she looks happy. I have a couple of suggestions. The background is what it is and I might suggest softening it and darkening it to minimize it. The woman is rather dark, her hair has no detail and I think if you were to rework the pp you could highlight her and that would draw the viewers eye to her the subject rather than the distracting elements in the background. I did an edit to show what I mean for your consideration, I'm just guessing on the colours here, I may be way off. Maybe not to your taste at all, just my 2 cents.
Regards

Greg

Her day... she was certainly happy! I like what you've done to her face and hair, not so much the alterations to her dress. Appreciate your taking the time and effort to work on this photograph. Very helpful. I hope for more such invaluable inputs in future... bw, rajat

It is the sense of movement and flash of rich colour that is so attractive. Maybe crop the light areas at the top of the image or sufficiently darken them to make them less noticeable, I do like the lghtening of the hair that Gregory applied, maybe slightly less should be appplied to the face.

Altogether a captivating image! Very well done Rajat!

Best Regards

You've made a good case for fast lenses.  Other similar cameras with kit lenses would have to up the ISO to 1600 to 6400 to obtain the same result and would likely be much noisier.   Gregory used a light hand in his post processing and the result is an enhanced image with manipulation transparent to the viewer.  As it should be.  Best, LM.

Sorry I haven't visited for a while - no excuses, just sorry.

I'm happy, though, that this image immediately caught my eye.  The darker tonality really makes the colors appear far more rich and vivid, and also contributes to the moody character of the image.  Great job in capturing the movement in Chaiti's feet and dress.

My best,

michael
