3m 0 Posted February 23, 2013 I like your idea and presentation of this, Gunnar. The soft, muted glowing colors are esthetic and feel intimate for some reason. (without showing much...) The perceived movement blur contributes to the sense that she's looking at the painting in a passing mode.. (an impression that often strikes me when visiting an exhibit... as if people mostly look for a general impression of the displayed art, and glance at it, instead of actually standing in front of it, taking time to focus on it & absorb it...) dgv 1 Posted February 24, 2013 I underline what Marjolein said above. Very artistic and in a way it poses an existential question. Warm regards, Dimitris. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted February 25, 2013 I think Marjolein pretty much nailed this with her analogy of the image. It also conveys to me that sense of passing with scarce pause for appreciation, a fleeting glance, a faltering footstep and a vague impression.Very well communicated! pnital 36 Posted March 21, 2013 My impression and feeling is that it is a spiritual moment where the real life are engulfing the art she is facing,I think so beacuse her body language is rflecting a real interest (as different from Marjolein's feeling..). Interesting moment in time! Link to comment
