landscape Broken oak and a raven

A very quiet valley,cloudy day and just the sound of this raven with

strong echo,I do not resisted to caught this even the sound is missing.

Like this shot, a vast landscape of cold and white, wonder what this Raven must be thining as it sits and looks out over this frozen place. This image is well done and composed, tells a story about this bird and what it must endure to survive the winter.  Best Regards, 

The sound of a raven calling across a vast but otherwise silent landscape is one of the most haunting and beautiful sounds in all of nature, IMO.  I like the cool tones and relatively low light here -- it carries the mood very well.

Gail,David,Sherry,thank you for your time and comment,appreciate this.In Feb.the ravens are in breeding time(seems very unusual indeed this thing in cold time)  and there calls can be heard better especially in a place like this.

Stephen,all last month was a weather like this, mostly cloudy,but when I saw this scene I feel that is very good one to express that mood moment,yes the sound was incredible in this clearing and for me this completed the moment.Some people here want,like,only white bright snow but I think that if I did  it for a scene like this(or in next one uploaded) all I feel that moment disappear,is just my opinion.Appreciate your visit here and opinion,thank you.
