With regard to the watermark, I spent 8 hours enduring  huge swarms of mosquitoes and armies of leeches in 33 deg heat and 90% relative humidity to get these images. Additionally, I have made a significant capital outlay on equipment. Taking photos is my source of income. Many of my shots have been "stolen" from the web (even by government agencies). While I can understand your point of view, I also understand that once an image is on the web, it's out there. If people want to steal the results of my labour, at least they will have to do a little bit of work in PS themselves. If someone removes the watermark, there can be no doubt that they were aware that the image is my copyright. I think that given my personal circumstances, any other approach would be naive in the extreme.

(have yet to work out your first name) I accept all in your comment and it is unfortunate that images are stolen. I appreciate your efforts to prevent theft..... but it is still a huge distraction and you must understand that many here on PN will continue to query the logo.

Whilst I have never tried it, one can post low-res images here, which I understand render the image pretty useless for downloading......... as I said, I've never tried it... just a thought.

Thanks Grayham. However, being obstinate and slightly paranoid, I think I will persist with watermarks.
