scott_murphy5 101 Posted February 6, 2013 This is a great shot Radu, I love the composition. The contrast seems very low to me, the snow is rather gray and dull looking. The snow does not have to be bright white because it is not in bright sun, but I think its EV should be increased by at least 1.5 EV. By lightening it just a little bit and adding some more contrast, the image really pops out. What do you think? Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted February 6, 2013 Scott, thank you for your opinion. Is true that day was very cloudy and I really sometime like this kind of weather for photo.I have in my mind all the time how white, how bright must be the snow.First ppwork I did was more dark than this and I don't like it and I increased the light.Sometime with high contrast winter softness disappear and image comes to be a little bit harsh.I understand you and I think that a selective change of white in foreground and middle will be good(to be not dull) but I like the softness of bg mountain with frost on forest.I appreciate your opinion and make me think to this and rework with a new idea.my best regards Link to comment
