I like the horizontal shades of golden hue that repeat on the soft waves and are are kind of echoed by the sky. This scene would never have looked quite so good with only two swans ........that third one truly makes a difference, 3 is always a more interesting number.

Well seen. I agree, the third swan makes the image much better than had there only been two. I think you got the amount of water to sky just right.

Sidsel,  Wonderful image - I too like the 3 swans and the horizontal lines in the water.  Did you achieve the orange by adjusting your white balance?  I read that if the white balance is set at around 10,000K, it will produce and orange or red color.  I suggest that you try to sharpen the image and have made an effort to illustrate.  Best to you.  Larry

I agree with Larry's suggestion, the sharpening improves the already good image.
