Malta has some  aqueducts, I think I have  photographed it in the smaller island of Malta ,which is called Gozo .( Mario ?... ;-)).

In any event it is very old,and much better details can be  seen when enlarged!.

Thanks for viewing.

A beautiful structure, Pnina, and I like the way the city is visible through the arches. Do you know anything more about this aqueduct? You say it is very old but it seems to be in remarkably good shape. Can you supply more information about when it was built?

So, I think of Casarea when I look at this....  I, too, love to view the city through the arches, and the bit of light on the grass really makes this special, guiding the viewer.  Looks like a lovely place.  Hope things are well

Pnina, you are right this is Gozo, these aqueducts are not very old though, they were built by the British in the 1830s.

Mario, for your confirmation. I know there is another  aqueduct in Gozo that is very old ( 16 century AD ?) in any event thanks for your help in answering Jack's' question. It is a great help.

Jack and Donna ,there are  in Malta  excavation from about 5500! years  ago, we saw them  only from  the outside ( lack of time),  it is UN world's  heritage!

Thanks again for your interest, and impressions.
