I like the way the elements of the image are seperated to create a more than passing glance, its composition arouses curiosity and deeper study. As john eloquently described it, "the foreground agitation woirks so well in contrast to the peaceful scene behind"  One can imagine the sounds that accompanied the feeding.

A complex image wit many strong elements - the ripples caused by the feeding birds barely affecting the shoreline, the solitary boat, the subdued colors, and the overall peaceful mood.  I love it!
