I like the composition and foreground detail both are perfect!  The distant mountains add a sense of depth to the image and the cloud balances the whole scene nicely.  I wonder if you cropped the image at the straight line at the base of the mountains, would it give the appearance of infinity......just a thought. Looks like you are getting some great results from the D600 and 20 mm lens combination!

Very well done Lester!

Best Regards

Thanks for dropping a line. The line formed at the base of the mountain is untouched which is quite perfectly straight. This is because this was once a lake that eventually dried up thereby forming  practically a straight line at the edge of the mountain. Thanks for your thought and yes, I am enjoying the full frame D600.

Best regards!  -  Lester

My wife and I have seen many of your sea crapes which inspire us to learn.  Now you show us how you are with the scenes of Death Valley.  Very good example for us to learn.  Best Regards,

Joscelyn,

Thanks for your remarks on my posts. I do appreciate them so much.

Wanghan,

I am honored that my photos inspire you to learn more in photography which you may hardly need at this point as I see it from your wonderful photographs.

Ruud & Koushik,

Always a pleasure to read your remarks. More power!

Lester
