I never know what I will end up with when I use layers and the

transform tool. This particular image which you will see a small copy

of the original below, was one that was headed for the 'garbage bin',

but just before I was going to delete it, I thought, why not give it a

try??? It's not like any other 'bee' I have taken before. Although a

little creepy, I suppose it could look 'creepier'. It's sometimes fun to

play with an otherwise 'useless - less than perfect' image. (any visits

and comments are always welcome, my sincere thanks, Gail)

Origins.  I can see it easily with this one.  I love the parallelism.  I love the interposed fringe.  great.  best, j

What a wonderful array of colours. All detractors of Photoshop wizardry ought to restudy the genre to see the potential.

I don't know if it was your intention to create the final result as it is but it presents an almost disturbing and perhaps, harrowing image that could well be the backdrop to a film poster.

Nice! The original was a good enough image, but the transformation has taken it to a whole new level. Very "alien-like."

Gail,

Looking at the original, you have raised the level of your photography with this creation. In here, there is movement that makes the image more dynamic and the droplets(?) is a pleasant addition in the creation.

Beautiful!

"To Bee,  or not to Bee"  : - )

I do like this exploration into the insect "Outter Limits" as I think Joseph mentions above it has an alien kind of apperance that captures ones imagination.

Very well done Gail!

Is incredible how looks after your work, what I like are not only the idea and details seen but most of all the sensation that this point of view is like you are with your camera inside the flower, very interesting result.
