alfbailey 3 Posted November 11, 2012 Its good to get a side by side comparison between the colour version and this B & W. My personal preference is this one. Not for any reason other than the colour one tends to distract away from the main character by the very virtue of its bright colours. Whereas in this verswion one is immediately drawn to the face of the man and his expression. There are still elements of brightness in this version that could be toned down with curves tool in Lightroom, but I dont think its crucial as they don't detract from the image in fact they seem to set the atmosphere of a bright sunshining day. Great character photograph. Best Regards Alf Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted November 12, 2012 Thank you kindly.I agree that the hot spots still show but am not very conversant with PP tools;I guess I need to look this up some more especially on bringing up older printed images.Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted November 12, 2012 Merci bien de l'appréciation;il est vrai que cette version tourne davantage l'attention vers le visage expressif de l'homme.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
