Vos grandmeres ont eu la vie dur, Laurent!  Great portraits all, but this is my favorite.  Gilie

The two ladies in these photos are from the same mountain village and neighbors.They are/were surely somebody's grandmas,both living with the bare minimun and both equally very nice and gentle.I chose this title because this one had some striking resemblance to my late grandpa.Merci de l'appréciation et surtout du commentaire en français.

Laurent, you do the single figure well.  Your composition makes this a "gallery images".  Great work.  You obviously relate well to others and they to you.

Hi Laurent, ça va? With this well framed photo, we may see several things like the hard life of this "grandma" (look at the hands, look at the face, the door, etc.). It is a very good portrait! Best regards.

Oui,ça va!And you are right about the hardship condition sustained by this gratious lady and some of her elderly neighbors,mostly women,surely widows because of the visual absence of male partners in their immediate proximity.In spite of this,this lady was always this gratious as I had the opportunity to encounter her more than once over a period of two years.
