I love the sky the way it is, in fact I was going to mention that you have retained sharpness without compromising the mood of the image by using more contrast and losing the misty effect of the distant buildings. The larger view is superb, and the composition suggests the start of a journey , personally I wouldn't change a thing here!

I too like your original image with the feeling of misty background better than the suggested alternative.  I was last in H.K. in 1972.  I don't think I would recognize it again.

this shot is interesting and vey well composed but, for my taste and monitor, lacks of impact. Consider , if you like,a B&W version to explore and understand the best way to exalt the general atmosphere of this potentially beautiful image. warm regards
