I can see why you would afford such dominance of the sky proportions as it does look really attractive. The billowing clouds and colours really do make the image work.  The small buildings and quayside add a nice element of interest and personally I would have allowed a touch more space at the bottom, perhaps another half of the dimansion of water that you have already allowed.  Did you use a "fill light" control in processing?  I ask this because there is an area within the trees that looks slightly bleached in appearance.  If this is the case maybe it would be better leaving them dark and losing a little bit of detail? But I am just guessing now.  Overall a very attractive image.

Best Regards

Thanks Alf. the shot is HDR and I was sitting in my hotel room playing around with the shot on my Mac and really should have sorted out the bleached area. I was probably to keen to get it onto the site. To make matters worse my 24-105 has packed up so am stuck with a single 50 mm lense. Should have brought the rest but wanted to travel lightly. Best wishes William.
