flowers & plants Drop Shot

While outside yesterday during the early morning wind and rain, I

spied this double Salmon Hibiscus blowing in the wind. It was the only

bloom on the whole plant and the salmon color stood proud against the

lush green leaves. Although, I have photographed the double hibiscus

many times, it was the way that this one was hanging that caught my

eye. Because of the wind and the low light, I had to take over 30

exposures to get one which was void of movement and blurred details.

I really like the sharpness and the processing, and its good to see the original to get an idea of what you had to work with. That kind of soft glow surrounding the flower is very effective, but I wonder if it would look a little more natural if the light to dark area's were a touch more gradual?
