Caledonia 0 Posted September 6, 2012 The river coe as it flows through one of my favourite glens, glen Coe. With the mountains, the river, and the purple heather this really is Scotland at it's best. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted September 6, 2012 This is really a beautiful image with a wonderful composition and exposure. I think my only observation is that it feels like it tilts rather strongly down on the left, and that the river is pouring out of the left side of the frame. Thanks for sharing this lovely landscape. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted September 7, 2012 I got the same impression of a tilt to the left as Christopher. But other than that minor detail, the rest of the image is an absolute delight to view. Wonderful perspective, composition, and light distribution and a shutter speed that allows a good appreciation of the water movement, without turning it to total mush.Best Regards Alf Link to comment
rlopezmoral 1 Posted September 7, 2012 Excellent work, Douglas ... !! Beautiful landscape with nice colors. The horizon line is slightly to the left, but the beauty of the scene exceeds this problem. Congrats & regards Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted September 7, 2012 I don't know, I kind of feel like the water movement is a bit of a distraction with all of the other perfectly rendered parts of the image. Maybe there's just too much of the moving water dominating the scene? In this case perhaps a faster shutter speed might have worked better although then I guess you'd lose the DOF. Great image anyway... Link to comment
