the setting sun

Nice pose and nice balance of the couple with the setting sun.  Normally, the horizon line dividing the image in halves would not work well but, because of the multiple lead-in lines from the rocks and waves, here it does work.  That one rock in the center of the image looks like a old tire---might take it out, and the one next to it to see if it has any impact on your composition.  A pleasant image, all in all.

I like it. It's an interesting variation on a couple at the beach shot. It does seem a little oversharpened, but maybe that happened via Photo.net's handling of your post.

For me the only problem with this sunset shot is the .... sun;-)

The sun could have been easily tucked away behind a rock, still leaving all pointers to light source intact.

This is an awesome place for such pictures.  I really like it.   But, since it's getting hit hard with critiques, which is nice to see, I thought I'd give it a go.  The horizon is crooked and with so much rock showing in the foreground, I feel a little trapped, so here is my crop version.
