I really like the perspective and composition, the close proximitiy of the overhanging tree lends a tangible feel to the image whilst in contrast the colours of the falls have a painterly feel, in fact its like stepping into a painting.  Looks better larger!  Beautifully done!

Alec, I really appreciate just how magnificent this water falls is when I see the size of the people directly to the left. What a beautiful sight this must have been. Amazing country. I really appreciate you posting these. I don't know why, but when I think of China, I tend to think of the big cities, and this is so wrong. There is such beautiful sights that I should associate this country with. Very nice work Alec.

I was also surprised to see this waterfall Gail. It will take days of hiking to get so near one in America. Here in Sichuan this nature reserve is well preserved by the government and is in a restricted area so it is in pristine condition.
