jeffl7 0 Posted August 28, 2012 I'm impressed by this one, particularly how you preserved enough detail to provide context while allowing the abstraction of the blur to swirl around and energize everything. I tried to do something similar a couple weeks ago while on vacation, but was disappointed upon review of my shots. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted August 28, 2012 Very interesting image, artistic and decorative. Exceptional post-processing technique. One can look at this creation for a long time. Well done!DG Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted August 28, 2012 Very original concept to photograph it in this way. The result is still recognisable as burned trees, yet the textures also allows an abstract quality to be appreciated.Compliments! Alf Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted August 29, 2012 I like the concept and techique used. Very artistic work with a wonderful and beautiful final result. Looks like a strong wind storm in the forest. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 24, 2012 I like the sweep of the horizontal as it flies by the sturdier verticals generating a sense of tension between movement and rest. This is a picture you could hang on your wall and never get tired of because your perception of it would constantly shift into something new. There is no clearly defined subject so our imagination is forced into the game - never a bad thing. Link to comment
