HI Wolfgang, I like these sorts of images, this one is appealing because of the monotone aspect to it, all the tones are in harmony and balanced. There are also snippets of interest through the image, Nice work.

As Richard indicates there are hints of detail amongst the image that makes it a fascinating image to explore. I found two faces, one a faint outline under the left wall lamp, and another, a profile view, within the more pronounced circular shape of the right hand wall fitting.

many thanks for your comments. You've spotted my main idea to "dope" the emptiness with little bits and pieces that tie attention to the photo despite it's bleak atmosphere. @Alf: special thanks for detecting the faces - I hadn't conciously seen them before - now I can't deny: they are there (maybe ghosts that haunt that house ;-)).
