Pierre Dumas 286 Posted August 8, 2012 Very original approach is quite noticeable here! The result is emphasizing of the fragility and tenderness of the flower! Best regards Hamid! PDE Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted August 8, 2012 The sepia tonality adds to highlight the red flower. Very elegant and refined composition with DOF and focus.DG Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted August 25, 2012 I have visited this image on a number of ocassions and contemplated it for some time. Whilst you have captured the morning light in a very natural way and the highlighted "dew" looks great against the velvet skin of the flower, I think that maybe the busy foreground detracts from the star of the show and somehow steals the limelight. Maybe a bit of gardening would have resolved this, but of course I can appreciate why you wouldn't want to disturb the flower. To summarise, this is a difficult shot to capture and I think you have done very well in controlling the bright light.Best Regards Alf Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted August 31, 2012 So much thanks for response and sorry for my delayed reply ( i was on a two weeks trip ). Your kind comments are always appreciated.Alf, this was a experiment actually for my new amazing lens to explore its power on creating flare and bokeh, and i found it really exceptional. fg drops converted to pearly drops and bg flare was much upper than my expectations. BTW, thank you for your insightful advices. My best regards,Hamid. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted August 31, 2012 Hello Hamid, Very interesting and dare I say slightly different than what I am accustomed to from you. The image appears to me like a light show, if that is what you were after with your new lens then I would say you have succeeded. The subject itself is very beautiful and the moisture only enhances this. Well done.Best,Holger Link to comment
