These birds are quite prolific in number these days and its great to see them. But for me they seem particularly difficult to capture in great detail.  But here you have done just that, the details in the plumage is wonderful and the light is perfect against the dark background.  The ripples and reflections are the icing on the cake! Nice work Richard!

This is such a beauty, we see a lot of them at the net, but not as this one  .The form looks like a boat cruising in the water,..... the light, details, colors( with the orange point) and timing are perfect !
