Nice dramatic atmosphere and composition strictly by the rules, everything points to the boat!

Best regards Lester!

Lester,

Excellent exposure in difficult lighting.  Captures the moment, action of water & sky with no blown highlights.  Nice soft tones throughout the image.  Well done & thanks for this one.

Very dynamic image Lester. Excellent composition. How are you enjoying your Nex 7???? My Dad finally gave in, after selling a few lenses and bought one last Saturday!!! He is enjoying it very much for now, but hasn't had the opportunity to make any captures like this!!! Sincere regards, Gail

For such a small DSLR with its features, I couldn't ask for more. Its 24 MP power gives me more room to do something more and its interchangeable lens capability makes its use more flexible allowing me to use my favorite Leica R lenses as you might have noticed.

Thanks again for dropping by, Gail

Lester, nice composition with a wide range of tonal representation and atmosphere. Were the title of your creation absent, the clearly dominant subject is the very detailed and present rock in the foreground; the contrast in tone and sharpness make it so. Though you have leading lines to the boat, it just does not have the presence or weight to be the "subject." The boat requires much more tonal separation from its immediate foreground and the background for it to be the primary subject. Just my opinion, and again, a very lovely capture. -Mark
