The composition is well balanced and there is a lot of fine detail and texture, courtesy of the HDR. The image has a surreal effect, which is great if that is what was intended, but doesn't resemble a natural landscape as such, particularly the sky. An enjoyable image to view nonetheless.

Alf - It seemed to me that this image was a good candidate to create a moody,edgy effect with HDR.

Ford, the sky may be moody, but the rest of the photo is not.  It's disjointed in that the sky does not match the light on the water nor on the foreground rocks.  That's a challenge for HDR photography.  I'm in agreement with many who say good HDR is that which, when done well, is difficult to see in the photograph.
