The best of your Atlanta Botanical Gardens series, Gregory. Your focus is much better here as is the lighting (although I see you've used your flash with a high ISO in all your shots and am not sure why).

Anyway, this one's a keeper!

Like many of my own flower shots, this photo isn't especially eye-catching. As I wonder about why, I can suggest a few things: more detail, more isolation of certain elements, more harmonious composition (rather than centered). It kinda looks like a background waiting for a spider or other "subject" to appear right now.

I suspect that if you took a vertical approach to the purple flower at left, for example, and focused in on that, it might have been more striking then this shot.

My free advice may be worth less than you paid for it. Thank you for sharing and allowing me to think about your photo. It helps me get better.
