Fantastic action shot. Excellent timing and perfect tonality. This is a dynamic composition depicting actions of life. The larger view is amazing.  Regards.

Very well captured Richard, great timing, and nicely cropped too. Panoramic format really suits this image. Well done.

A fine piece of action with lots of great background.

I hope you don't mind a bit a suggestion about the processing.  I just used the Shadow/Highlight tool and then brought back some darkness with the history tool.

You could do more with contrast etc but this was a quickie.

How did this race end?

Great drama and action. Swans are not the most tolerant of creatures. When I went fishing last year a swan came close by and I fed it bits of my sandwich. I turned my back on the swan to get something from my box and to my utter astonishment the swan grabbed me by the ankle and started hissing, I laughed about it later, and there was no harm done, but they are very territorial birds.  Sincere compliments on this great display!.

Best Regards

Alf
