Marco - Thank you for the compliments. I think that red together with yellow seems to attract insects. There are of course many contributing/mixing factors, like how the insect sees and smells the flower etc. But from a insect point of view this looks attractive:-)

I like the way the light plays against the fine tendrils of the flowers filaments and clusters of anther, emerging from the deep red cavern. Excellent colour and detail!
