Beautiful detail.  Florida bluejays seem to be thinner. I just downloaded one if you care to check it out.

Ray,

Excellent lighting and details! I would have preferred not so much centered in the frame, and a bit more for the Bluejay to look into, . . . but that's just my opinion, and I understand that "it sometimes just don't work that way!" Still this is a good composition, and the softer background really makes the Bluejay stand out!
