Cannon Beach Haystack rock 4

I like it.  The cloud really accentuates the presence of the rock and in turn allows for a better representation in its reflection in the wet sand, than would have been the case with say just a plain blue sky. I also like the inclusion of the humam elements the RH one looking wistfully out to sea, whilst the other two head for home with the dog leaving our lone figure to thoughtful contemplation.  Its a great landscape, but it tells a story too, and I do like the B & W rendering. I did play with the idea of cropping the bottom, to disclude the sliver of darker sand, but it unbalances the images so I would leave well alone.
