Jagged Earth.

Another image I shot at the weekend from Langdale, I climbed up

these hills at around 5.00am saturday morning just in time for the

sunrise. Its quite an experience having the mountains to yourself at

this hour.

Arriving at that very early hour has brought its own rewards with the striking light contrasting so well against the dark backdrop of the clouds. I arrived in the area some time later on Saturday about 6.30 at Esthwaite and the light certainly wasn't as attractive.
