My wife and I went to visit the "wave" during the winter time, and we

only met one or two people there. It was cold but we were excited.

Thanks for your viewing it and appreciate your comments. Best

Regards,

I've never seen this with snow.  It's a good composition -- you've framed it well.

Very lovely, I can even see some of the texture of the snow. Lighting and composition are very well done.

Beautiful shot, well presented. Good color, unusual angle, unusual time of year. The blend of the hot colors of the stone and the snow really makes this step up. The touch of blue in the background creates a nice contrast and great DoF. Bravo!! - Charles

Wow, so beautiful Wanghan. It must be a totally new experience in the Winter. It would be really interesting to see how the snow drifts in this 'magical' place.

Beautiful capture!

Sincere regards, Gail

Quite a different photo from what I am used to seeing around from Coyote buttes. I guess the cold keeps most people away, but I can tell it was worth it! I tried to get permits last fall, but like most people there, no luck!

Another very strong image Wanghan! In this one I especially like the up-close detail of the snow in the foreground. You did a very good job of keeping everything in such sharp focus from the very front to the very top. And the snow has a lot of great texture which is difficult to do without making it just blown out to white. Congratulations!

I think this has to be the strongest in the series due almost entirely to the amazing rock formation and the perspective you have. Excellent detail and sharpness and a good sense of balance has prevailed throughout, with good proportional aesthetics for snow, rock and sky.

Sincere Compliments! 7

Wanghan, I love the contrast of colours here, the subtle magenta in the snow reflected from the Rock, and then the contrasting colours of the sky and rock, Shape line and form are strong in this image and the composition you have created pull it all together. Well done, I wish i had the time to go to some of these places.
