Barn alone!

I like the impression of remoteness and the movement of the high clouds, whilst the footsteps leading to the barn are a nice introduction to the main feature. The structure to the left of the image I'm not so sure about, it tends to draw my attention away and I think detracts from the age and nostalgia that otherwise resides. Although I realise to crop it out would upset the balance of the photo to some degree I think it may be worthy of consideration in order to accentuate the afore mentioned qaulities. Great subject and location!

Thank you for the visit and the valuable comment.I agree with you that the structure conflicts with the era of the scene and I had initially cloned it out along with the electrical lead cable attached to the barn,but my PP skills being what they are,I thought that the camouflage exercise was not that good and posted with the structure in place as cropping it out was more or less bringing the scene down to a photo of a barn.

As I am still unfamiliar as to how to attach an image to this texte,I have posted in my Recent Additions folder the copy with the structure cloned out.If you have time to view,I would apprecite your input.
