Kish (Persian: کیش‎) is a 91.5-square-kilometre (35.3 sq mi) resort island in the Persian Gulf. It is part of the Hormozgān Province of Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centres, tourist attractions, and resort hotels. It has an estimated population of 20,000 residents and about 1 million people visit the island annually.[1][2] Kish Island was ranked among the world’s 10 most beautiful islands by The New York Times in 2010, and is the fourth most visited vacation destination in the Middle East after Dubai, U.A.E, and Sharm el-Sheikh.[3] Foreign nationals wishing to enter Kish Free Zone from legal ports are not required to obtain visas prior to travel. Valid travel permits are stamped for 14 days by airport and Kish port police officials...Thnx alot for viewing and your time!...Best regards(Bobby).

I like this one with a sharp shillouette of a fisherman in the front. Nice colors too. My only slight problem is that the horizon is a bit tilted and needs to be straightened. Otherwise a nice picture (6). Best wishes.

Bobby,

This is really a wonderful surprise that you have come back to PN. I'm truly happy to meet you here again, my friend. You've come with a marvelous photograph with admirable color-management and appreciable composition. The foreground figure has definitely enriched the strength of the composition. Beautiful shot. Best regards.

Lovely scene you have captured. The detail in the water from the fisherman's line is really nice. Well timed. I agree with the earlier comment that it could be improved if you rotated the image slightly so that the horizon is level. But other than that it is perfect. Thanks for sharing the image and the story that goes with it.

Welcome back, Bobby! A well composed shot, taken at a poignant time. I like it a lot but it can be better. The horizon leveling is an easy enough thing. Play around with the levels. If you reduce the highlights even a slight bit, the light path to the sun would become even more poignant...

Very nice colour and light gradation and the fisherman adds that touch that just makes me want to be there! Very well done!
