A very impressive Scenic Linda. I love the perspective, the very obvious changes in the landscape. Very nice POV, attention to detail and presentation. The 'moody' sky is certainly causing the foothills to look darker. At least you were able to enjoy some sunshine for awhile.

I could have called this a salute to the S curve in landscape. I am always attracted to S curves and this one is full of them. This is what I saw and liked when I shot it, and see in it now. I am glad to hear you like it. Thanks so much.

I like the curves too, and the obvious path of the waters current. A slight longer shutter speed may have accentuated this more, although then there is always the danger of the vegetation looking blurred if its windy. I also like the billowing clouds but maybe a bit less contrast would leave them looking softer?  Lovely landscape Linda.

Alf, I am going to have to work on using longer shutter speeds when shooting moving water. I have tried but my results are never what I like.

I sometimes use slow shutters but I experiment with 3 or 4 images at different speeds. Depending on the speed of the flow, I have had some success with 0.5sec.
