Roman shutters may remain shut, Romans may pass her by... but one misses her not... i refer not to the observant lamp-post, but to Mau - were you kissing these ancient cobblestones when you took this timely shot!

She also stands out with her dress - all others are jacketed or smocked...

It's a little busy but I like the sense of anticipation of the moment. Maybe a touch over-processed and over-sharpened - some distracting halos toward the right, almost like a bas relief effect.

I like the perspective. Beautifully captured.

Love the feeling of the photo. First thing I noticed however (I'm crazy that way) is that she is wearing a dress that leaves her bare around the arms and shoulders and everyone else on the street are wearing heavy coats and jackets!. She must be cold!!
