Fine details and good contrast with colours and b&w - br Hannu

I like the perspective and the overall mood, the tiny human figures add scale to the image and give a good idea of just how big the castle is. The slivers of warmth at the horizon are a welcome relief from the grey cloud. I think this is a great shot, but perhaps the sky is darkened a bit too much. It does create a surreal aspect to the image which I like, but somehow the presence of the people and the warm horizon seem to conflict with this. Just my thoughts and impressions, overall it's a fine image to behold.

This is a great photo Kevin and I also agree the sky is powerful here and the size of the people impress upon us your DOF here.  Also I find the slight color in the foreground adds to the idea of a divide in the images.  Overall I like the image and wonder how it might look in b&w.  I also like the light here and the beautiful glow in the distance.  Great Job, really lovely.

Nice shot, but when doing HDR remember that the reflection in the water should somewhat match the sky. The sky is dark and the water is quite light, this doesn't look natural. The best HDR images don't look like HDR. The same is true with fill flash photos.
