Typically for a landscape of this genre, you have to be carefull about the incline of the horizon line, in this case it is distracting the view from an otherwise peaceful and serene view. I like the light and colors. Cheers.

Nicolaie,

Thank you for your comment but I think I may have to disagree as far as the horizon line is concerned. Checking this by using the rectangular marquee tool in PS demonstrates that the horizon line is dead straight.

Lovely warm colour in those billowing clouds, the skyline broken by the fine sharp branches of the young trees and a wind rippled water that adds a different texture to the reflections, an altogether delightful image.  The horizon is perfectly straight, and although there is a slight optical illusion to the contrary, it is just that, an illusion. I find that the easiest way to check, when viewing on PN is to scroll the horizon of the image up to the edge of the PN window.  Very well done Lester!

Best Regards

Alf

it is a fantastic light. I think the horizon is ok although I feel the photo is not balanced, but probably it was not possible to tke it from a different angle

The colors are gorgeous. The position of the islands and the ripples made by the wind make it attractive. Beautiful image. Regards, Jean-Marc
