2012 - 2 Sunrise at Quiet Sea

This is a simple and attractive photograph.  On a different photo of yours, I commented that the highlights were too bright.  Some might say the same here, and it's true that more processing could bring out more detail and color, but on the other hand this contrast in light on the left and right has a nice appeal.  If I were to experiment, it would be to get lower (if physically possible) so that more of the small island broke the horizon line; not sure that would be "better," but I'd like to compare.  Very nicely done.

I like the very understated look of this one, a quiet subtlety that is as appealing as the morning it was taken, nothing too brash too bright or too loud, a warm peaceful haven. Nice work Lester
