I'm a big fan of PP that adds layers on top of layers to age the photo or

make it look like a memory - a dream. This is what I was aiming for.

Please let me know what you think. I'm open to suggestions.

Hello Sonia I also love playing with texture levels by inserting, stacking, correct, mask. I think it's a great tool for creativity or simply to improve the image, even if this involves a lot of attention in its use. In your picture you left some spots of the texture on the (arm, leg), and this brings up the subject as if it was dirty or unreal. Another point of view, is that you must always balance the tones of the subject with superimposed textures. Best wishes

Paolo, do you think that I should have reduced the colour saturation then? I certainly can :) I had thought about it but I was loving the greens and rose so much. I'll look into it though.

Sonia, if I may...I seldom leave any texturing at all on the model's skin. Clothing...a bit of texture/color can work. IMO, I don't think the particular texture used here works very well...but it's just my opinion. Overall, I do like your photo & look forward to visiting your portfolio.

John

Sonia,

I love the photo. Talk about a winning smile on the model. Really a grabber! I like the overall composition of the photo. Since I have little experience with layering, I'll refrain from commenting on that. Again, I like the photo!
