An absolute dream of a shot, the morning light and colours are delightful, if I was being nit picky I'd say the boat should be pointing the other way "into" the image, but to be honest who cares this is fantastic!

Top Marks Lester!

Best Regards

This is a very fine photograph with nice light and a great backdrop. Most of the points of interest (horizon, boat, hill) are close to centered, which is perhaps intentional, but it feels (to me) like the composition is slightly out of balance.

Alf,

I have long dreamt of being able to come up with my first image using a 4x5 and this my first image. I just wasn't able to post this photo taken few years back not until now when I got my first scanner.

Thanks for your kind words and your rating.

Best regards.

Esteban,

Nice to hear from you especially from a person who shoots fantastic landscapes too. Thanks for dropping by.

Pierre,

Your response to this image made my day! Hearing from you that you recognize a photo if it's mine is an honor. And yes, I must admit the lighting coming from the reflection of sunrise trying to overcome the cloudy skies provided a fantastic outcome. And yet, I hardly did any saturation here except for just a tad. Sharpening was minimal too.

My first experience of a 4 x 5 for this image paid off.

Thank you very much for your remarks.

Olaf,

Thank you for your comments. Regards!

Boeboe,

Thank you for liking this image and I appreciate your observations. Kind regards.

Ruud,

Thank you for always being there with your comments. Yes, I think I caught the lighting just perfectly.

George, Olivier, Raymond & Maurizio,

I would not be more inspired without your wonderful words about this image. Thank you too my friends. Best regards to all.
