I'm not a fisherman but I've been caught by the quiet vision of these two

friends sharing a warm november afternoon fishing in an incredible quiet.

I am a fisherman, or at least I was before I picked up a camera, but I can appreciate what you saw and felt here, your rendition of the scene perfectly portrays the feeling of tranquility and quiet camaraderie between the two fishermen. Beautfully done!

Hi Alf,

and thank-you for your comment. Your fisherman's experience certifies the scene's mood !

Maybe I already said the same for your other picture I commented Mauro, but I always say exactly what I feel! This composition is perfect and with wonderful original colors! Complimenti!

Best regards!

So good, but you have to find a way to deal with the halo around the boat. Unfortunately, it's quite noticeable. Otherwise, stunning.

I know you say what you feel and think, Pierre and that's why I appreciate so much your opinion. Thank-you so much

Hi Tim, you are right but I don't know what to do to accomplish the due task without a heavy local manipulation. I suppose there is a lot of healing brush to do with PS.

The awful artifact is likely due to the local/mid contrast increase...

thank-you for pointing out this defect.

Hi all,

following Timothy's advice I' ve photoshopped the area around the boat to eliminate the halo. On my Mac I see the effect only with the larger version (due to a wrong behaviour of Safari's cache management system, I suppose).

Do you think the issue is closed? Please provide feedback!

Regards,

Mauro

It looks much better now. I also have the problem that I see one image small, but another image large. The large version looks very good.

Thank-you Tim!

Your problem looks like a cache problem. Try to empty your browser's cache, exit it, restart it and all should work well (I suppose...)

C U soon

This is beautiful... so serene and placid... the limited color palette helps a lot to provide this sensual peace
