hstelljes 41 Posted November 21, 2011 Hello Hamid, Beautiful colortones and excellent composition. The viewer is led from the foreground rock right along the coastline and into the sky. The long exposure leaves the sea with that nice misty look. All in all its a very lovely scene.BR,Holger Link to comment
Caledonia 0 Posted November 22, 2011 Hi Hamid, Lovely foreground detail and nice movement on the sea with the slow shutter speed. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted November 22, 2011 Lovely foreground detail, great natural looking colours, vibrant but not oversaturated. Good use of the ND grad to provide a nice evenly balanced light. It would be interesting if you could post some exif info?. I like to compare results on long exposures, apertures, exposure time etc. I know its all time consuming but it can help others too. There is a tiny amount of curve on the horizon, but it's hardly noticeable and easilly fixed. To summarise a very well composed and executed shot.Sincere Compliments!Alf Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted November 22, 2011 I greatly appreciate your nice comments, and encouraging words, dear friends!Alf:Thank you so much for your in depth analysis and thoughtful comment, so helpful as always. Tech specs are as follows:13 sec, f/22, ISO 100, @16 mm; and that curve at horizon, i actually wonder about that, because i never encountered such type of distortion before, specially with this full format lens on APSC sensor. May be should correct it anyway.Another version of this capture with crop from below might improve composition. Any comment about that and also for any point to improve the capture highly appreciated, as i want to submit it to 1x, wish to be accepted there. Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted November 24, 2011 Just a quick note: -The crop version does appear more dynamic and powerful, the sense of close proximity to the leading foreground stone is almost tangible. It's only a small adjustment you have made, but it results in quite a big improvement. In my humble opinion of course.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment

llgarcia 1 Posted November 25, 2011 Most wonderful landscape. The composition is admirable with the rocks leading me into the image and into the nicely rendered sunrise. The treatment of the water is commendable and adds to the peaceful atmosphere of the morning.Best regards, Hamid.Lester Link to comment
